SunVista Diagnostics is a growing high-complexity molecular diagnostics laboratory specializing in PCR and precision diagnostic testing. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pre-Analytical Associate to join our laboratory operations team

This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and rapidly expanding laboratory environment focused on accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter laboratory test results, specimen information, and related data into laboratory information systems (LIS/LIMS)
  • Organize and maintain laboratory records and data in a secure and accessible manner
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of laboratory data and identify discrepancies or errors when present
  • Collaborate with laboratory supervisors, technicians, and staff to ensure timely and accurate data entry
  • Assist with improving laboratory data management and workflow processes Generate reports and summaries of laboratory data for laboratory review and analysis
  • Support laboratory personnel with data analysis preparation and documentation needs
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive laboratory and patient information in accordance with HIPAA and laboratory policies
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff and external contacts regarding laboratory information and follow-up requests
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, regulatory standards, and data security procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in laboratory support, data entry, medical office administration, or healthcare operations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with computers, data entry systems, and laboratory information systems (LIS/LIMS)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with laboratory workflows and specimen handling procedures
  • Experience using laboratory information systems or electronic medical record systems
  • Understanding of HIPAA and laboratory compliance standards

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Frequent sitting, bending, and stooping
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computers, office equipment, and laboratory systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
